Cookie Policy

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can recognise that repeated requests come from the same browser. This website uses cookies only where they are necessary for the seat booking system to work.

2. Strictly Necessary Cookies

The booking system cannot work without these, so they are set without asking for your consent.

bus_session1 day

Identifies which browser a held seat and a pending booking belong to. This system has no passenger account or login, so this cookie is the only thing that lets you return to your own booking. It is set as httpOnly and cannot be read by scripts on the page.

NEXT_LOCALE1 year

Remembers the language you selected so your next visit opens in the same language.

bus_theme1 year

Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode, so the site looks the same on every visit. It stores only the word light or dark, nothing else.

staff_token / staff_session / staff_sig7 days

Used only for staff and administrator accounts to keep them signed in, together with a digital signature that prevents tampering. Passengers never receive these cookies.

cc_cookie6 months

Remembers your answer to the cookie consent banner, so you are not asked again on every visit, and records which cookie categories you allowed.

3. Analytics Cookies

This website uses Google Analytics to see which pages visitors reach and where they get stuck, so we can improve the booking flow. These cookies are set only after you accept them in the consent banner. If you choose “Necessary only”, Google's script is never loaded onto the page at all.

_ga2 years

Google Analytics. Distinguishes which browser a visit came from. Reported as aggregate statistics and not used to identify you personally.

_ga_*2 years

Google Analytics. Keeps session state for each Google tag installed on this website.

4. Third-Party Cookies

The passenger details page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to screen out automated bookings made by bots. It may set Cloudflare cookies in your browser, solely for the security of this service.

5. What This Website Does Not Do

6. Data Stored on Your Device

Besides cookies, the system uses browser Local Storage to keep a draft of the passenger details you are filling in, so your input is not lost if the page is closed by accident. That draft stays on your device and is not sent to our server until you submit the form. You can remove it by clearing this site's data in your browser.

7. Managing Cookies

You can change your mind about analytics cookies at any time using the button below. When you withdraw consent, the Google Analytics cookies are removed from your browser straight away.

You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones, however, will stop the booking system from working — seats cannot be held while you fill in the form, and you will not be able to return to your booking.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy whenever our use of cookies changes, and the current version will always appear on this page. If you have questions about our use of cookies, please contact us through the channel stated in the Privacy Policy.
